Pastors Rob & Leslie moved to the area from New Orleans in 1986, and established the Full Gospel church now known as Tabernacle of Praise. This storefront church began with a young congregation of approximately 10 people and grew quickly. In 1994, the church purchased property on Old Airport Road to accommodate the
growing congregation.
The Holy Spirit swept through the congregation, bringing the church back to its true Pentecostal roots and Protestant beliefs. Tabernacle of Praise is a destination for hungry believers to touch heaven and express love and devotion to God. We exist to serve the community in both Henderson and Buncombe Counties.

As Tabernacle of Praise celebrates 37 years of ministry in Fletcher, NC, the congregation stands hungry and poised for the challenges the community faces. We are here to reach the lost and comfort the brokenhearted.
